Area and Perimeter

For Std 4, an engaging activity on Area and Perimeter was conducted in the playground. Students measured the length and breadth of different areas such as the basketball court, garden patches, and walking paths using measuring tapes and steps. They calculated the area and perimeter of these spaces, making the concepts clear and concrete. Learning outside the classroom made the session lively, meaningful, and easy to understand.

The participation of students was enthusiastic and wholehearted. They worked collaboratively, showed curiosity, and actively applied their mathematical skills. The activity created an enriching and dynamic learning environment, making Mathematics both fun and practical.
